Let’s Not Forget the Pets During the Pandemic!
Times are tough, no doubt.
But, let’s not forget the pets. They can’t talk and tell us how they are feeling about this disruption to their normal lives.
A negative change in the economy can make it next to impossible for some to care for and feed their pets. Shelters are overrun with surrendered pets, others are dumped in the county, while still others are let outside and never let back in.
It’s not because these pets aren’t loved, it’s because the owners can’t afford to feed them. With unemployment skyrocketing, some owners simply have to choose between feeding their family or their pets. The family wins, of course.
It’s HORRIBLE to have to make that sort of choice!
However, what if there were a program that would help owners keep their pets by supplying dog and cat food?
That’s what the COVID 19 Pet Food Relief program is doing.

With the generous donations of people just like you, we have organized and are “porch” delivering pet food to owners so they can keep their whole family together!
Pets help us in so many ways. Their unconditional love, loyalty and companionship is undeniable. Studies show pets – especially dogs and cats – can help reduce stress, loneliness, anxiety, depression and more! They can even help release those “happy” endorphins when you play and walk them!
Social distancing doesn’t stop us for walking our 4 legged friends or playing fetch or frisbee in the yard. Dogs LOVE to play and we can all benefit from that!
Cats can climb almost anything, love to be stroked and play with toys! Dangle something in front of a cat and you are going to enjoy seeing them watching and batting at the item!
Their personalities are so fun!!
Heather Upton and our whole team are animal lovers. We want to help owners of our furry friends keep their pets through the hard times. Heather and team are volunteering their time, transportation and cash donations to help others hang on to their pets. Will you help us, too?

If you would like to help us, donations can be made through Facebook, Venmo, PayPal, sending a check to our office address or dropping one in our red dropbox at our back door. 100% goes to buying food for pets. We “porch” deliver it for FREE to recipients.
