Home Staging has has proven it’s benefits to sellers over the last few years. Smart sellers know that attracting buyers will help their home sell faster and maybe, for more money! Isn’t that enough to check out what the home staging fuss is all about?

Times are Changing

It used to be when you decided to sell your home, you got an agent to put a sign in the yard, snap a few photos with his/her cellphone and your home on the MLS Service and then everyone sat around waiting for buyers.

That doesn’t work with today’s savvy buyers. You have to give them a reason to notice your home – have it stand out in the crowd – or it’s likely to languish on the market.

Buyers are a lot more knowledgeable today. Information is at their fingertips like no other time in history. They can find public records about how much a seller paid for their home, what the county assesses it for, improvements, taxes and so much more.

They are turned off by cellphone photos, clutter and un-realistic prices. They simply move on to the next home without even slowing down. What does your agent do to help get your home sold?
